MoolahPlan began with a simple question: Is there an easier way? In the photo, you’ll see my wife Traci and me on our wedding day — stress-free and overjoyed, celebrating a milestone in our journey together. At this time everything was in a spreadsheet. We were proud to have paid for this beautiful day debt-free, thanks to what is now MoolahPlan.

We felt confident enough in our savings plan that we decided to honeymoon in Jamaica for 4 days. In the photo, you’ll see my wife and me on the beach connected to our Resort. We budgeted for this in a spreadsheet I titled Wedding Booklet. We were proud to have paid for this debt-free as well. Sending thank you's to family that gifted us excursions.

Soon after getting back from Jamaica we found out that we were having Twins!. While this is exciting we were living in a one bedroom apartment. At this point, we were still using the spreadsheet system behind MoolahPlan when we decide to put a down payment on our first home.

MoolahPlan developed into a user-friendly app that helps you manage your monthly expenses and journeys all in one place.

Now we are tracking our monthly bills and journeys with MoolahPlan. When things happen we can quickly see how much we need in our bill pay accounts. Each time we get paid, we update our savings amount and look at how our journeys impact our projected savings. It has really made the old spreadsheet come to life and we hope that you'll benefit from it just as much as we do!
